Parotester 2 Roll Hardness Tester

The Parotester 2 paper roll tester allows for an objective and quick evaluation of the roll hardness, the hardness profile and the variation in hardness of paper, foil and film rolls. Automatic loading and unloading of the impact body by pressing the impact device to the roll results in fast and repeatable tests with more resolution than the commonly used Schmidt hammer test. The Parotester roll tester impact device is also designed for long service life, unlike the Schmidt hammers that need to be re-calibrated after every 1,000 impacts.

User-friendly electronics with a large LCD display of the measuring data with statistical values adds to the benefits of the Parotester roll tester. Data can be printed out immediately on the optional portable printer. Up to 5000 single measurements can also be stored internally by individual roll identification and can be sent to a PC using Parolink3 software or printed via the RS-232 connection.
